I have a serious girl crush on Kristen Ashley! She writes just the right kind of bad ass alpha heroes that I love to read about. These men take charge and make no apologies about who they are. They are a treat to read about and even more of a treat to imagine one of them in your life.

There is a lot of outside shit going on in this book to keep Tess and Brock apart. I have to say though, it's just the right amount of shit. It never gets confusing and I never feel overwhelmed. It is a rip roaring ride from page one and it never stops. I find myself in the horrible position of not being able to put down one of Ms. Ashley's books once I start it. Case in point, the fact that I was up until 3 am this morning still reading Wild Man. Once I start one of her books, it grabs me by the throat (much like one of her bass ass heroes would grab a bad guy) and doesn't wanna let go. You just keep turning the page, never quite sure where the story is gonna take you next, just hanging on for dear life and going along for the ride.

And what a ride it is. Murder, mayhem, girl posses, hot guys, bad guys, family drama, psycho exes on both fronts and cute kids who steal the show. Yup, that's how Kristen Ashley rolls. I find myself living in her world for the entire time I am reading the book. What a world it is.

My least favorite part: Damn. Not sure I can think of one? Except I had a real hate-on for Tessa's ex. Then again who wouldn't. He was a dick of the highest order. Don't even get me started on Brock's raving bitch of an ex!

My favorite part: Besides, well, the whole book!? I loved all the kids. The interactions provided just the right amount of cuteness and some of the most heartbreaking scenes too. I loved every single one of them.
